7. Is it possible for the food we eat to go into the stomach and intestine even when we are upside down? Explain it.
Ans: Yes! It is possible for food to go into the stomach even when we are in the position upside down. Because the esophagus uses wave-like muscular movement to push the food into the stomach. It will push the food into the stomach even when we are upside down.
8. How much time does food spend in the stomach?
Ans:
The food spends about 4 hours in our stomach.
9. What is the role of the digestive juice of our stomach?

10. Which organs are supporters of our digestive system?

Ans: Liver, gallbladder, and pancreas are the supporters of the digestive system.
11. What is vomiting and what are its reasons?
Ans: Vomiting is the reverse process of the peristalsis movement. It mostly happens when the food is unsuitable in some way.
12. How is the small intestine important in our digestive system?
Ans: In the small intestine digestion of food occurs completely. The inner surface of the small intestine has many fingers-like structures called vile. The digested food passes into the blood through the walls of the vile. The blood carried food particles to all parts of the body.

Ans: Role of mouth indigestion: The process of digestion begins in our mouth. Our teeth break the food into small pieces by cutting and grinding. The tongue mixes food with saliva which is secreted by salivary glands. Saliva starts the digestion of carbohydrates. The food in the mouth becomes soft and moist due to saliva. The tongue pushes this food to the back of our mouth.
Role of the stomach in digestion: Our stomach is a large J-shaped muscular bag. It mixes the food with digestive juice. It begins the digestion of proteins (meat, egg, milk, pulses, etc.). The food spends about four hours. The digestive juice in the stomach also contains acid. This acid kills the germs present in our food. It also helps in the digestion of food.
19. How does carbon dioxide production in our body?
Ans: During respiration living, organisms use oxygen for air and food to produce energy. Carbon dioxide is also produced during this process. The blood brings carbon dioxide to the lungs. It leaves our body while breathing.
20. Briefly describe the mechanism of breathing.
Ans: we take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide, this process is called breathing. The process of breathing is completed in two steps.
Inhaling: Taking oxygen from the air is called inhaling.
Exhaling: Carbon Dioxide moves out in the process of exhaling.
21. What are alveoli?
Ans: Alveoli are tiny sacs. These sacs are present at the end of bronchioles.
Alveoli are surrounded by blood capillaries.

22. Describe the human respiratory system

Ans: Respiratory system: The parts of the body used in the process of breathing form the respiratory system.
Parts of the Human Respiratory system: Our respiratory system consists of the nose, throat, trachea, brea5thing muscles and lungs.
Nose: The air enters through the nose. Our nose has hair to clean the air and mucous to moisten and warm the air.
Throat: Our throat contains two pipes, one for food and the other for breathing. Epiglottis allows things to go down right away.
Trachea: The windpipe is made of C-shaped rings of cartilage. These rings keep our pipe open.
Bronchi land Lungs: The bronchi are two air tubes that carry air into the lungs. It is divided into smaller tubes called bronchioles. At the end of the bronchiole, tiny air sacs are present called alveoli. Alveoli are surrounded by blood capillaries. The oxygen of air passes through the walls of alveoli into the capillaries. Then red blood cells can carry this oxygen to every cell of our body. Carbon dioxide leaves our bodies while exhaling.
